Midway Village Phase 1 is the first phase of a transformative affordable housing redevelopment in Daly City, California, led by MidPen Housing. The project delivered 147 new affordable apartment homes for families and transition-age youth and represents the beginning of a larger multi-phase effort that will ultimately replace aging housing with more than 550 modern, sustainable residences.

The development includes a variety of resident-focused amenities, including community gathering spaces, outdoor courtyards, a learning center, secure bicycle storage, and on-site resident services designed to support long-term community well-being.

Preston Pipelines provided critical underground infrastructure to support the project, including installation of storm drain, sanitary sewer, domestic water, fire water, a storm drain pump station, and temporary power systems. Working in partnership with Devcon Construction and project stakeholders, Preston helped establish the essential utility backbone supporting this important affordable housing development and its future phases.
