The Lasuen Mall Utility Improvements project upgraded critical underground infrastructure through the heart of Stanford University’s campus in Stanford, California. Preston Pipelines performed work across both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the project, replacing aging utility systems and improving the long-term reliability and capacity of the campus infrastructure network.
The project included installation and replacement of storm drain, sanitary sewer, domestic water, and lake water systems throughout the corridor. Improvements increased both storm drain and sewer capacity while enhancing overall utility system hydraulics across the area. Work also included replacement of deteriorated brick sewer manholes and aging clay pipe infrastructure with modern utility materials designed to support long-term campus operations.
Construction within an active campus environment required careful coordination and phased execution to minimize disruption to university operations. Preston successfully completed both phases while maintaining schedule and supporting ongoing campus activity.
