The modernization and new construction for John Barrett Middle School included a new science building, multipurpose room/gymnasium, modernized food court, drama/band/choir classrooms, and a new front office. In addition, all classroom wings were modernized, a new central campus quad, security fencing, paved all roads and sport courts, and landscaping.

Preston Pipelines performed underground utility services, including storm drain, sanitary sewer, domestic water, and fire water.
