Folsom Ranch is a large-scale master-planned community in Folsom, California, that will ultimately include approximately 11,000 homes, five schools, miles of trails, parks, and future retail and dining destinations. As one of the region’s most significant residential developments, the project is creating a vibrant, connected community south of SR-50.

Preston Pipelines partnered with Goodfellow Bros. to deliver critical underground infrastructure across multiple phases of the development. Preston’s scope has included backbone sewer, storm drain, domestic water, and PG&E substructure installations along Mangini Ranch Road and throughout numerous residential subdivisions, supporting the community’s long-term growth.

In 2022 alone, Preston installed more than 250 utility services for new residential construction. The project also required extensive excavation through the site’s challenging rock conditions. Preston performed detailed investigations, controlled blasting operations, and processing of blasted materials to successfully navigate the rocky terrain while maintaining production across multiple active phases. To date, Preston has completed more than $20 million of work at Folsom Ranch, and the project remains ongoing.
