The Escondido Village Graduate Residences (EVGR) at Stanford University significantly expanded on-campus housing capacity for graduate students, helping address growing demand while enhancing the residential experience. The development delivered more than 1,300 residential units and approximately 2,400 beds across four residential buildings ranging from six to ten stories, along with a three-story pavilion featuring dining, recreation, and community spaces. At more than 1.8 million square feet, EVGR represents the largest housing development in Stanford University’s history.
Preston Pipelines provided critical underground infrastructure for the project, including storm drain, sanitary sewer, domestic water, fire water, low-temperature hot water (LTHW), chilled water (CHW), and PG&E gas systems. Working alongside Vance Brown and Stanford University, Preston helped deliver the utility backbone necessary to support this landmark campus expansion and its long-term operational needs.
