The Carson Creek 2 Lift Station project in El Dorado Hills, CA, provided a critical wastewater infrastructure upgrade for the El Dorado Irrigation District. Completed in October 2019, the project replaced the aging Business Park 3 Lift Station to improve system efficiency, capacity, and reliability.

Preston Pipelines constructed the new lift station and rerouted the sanitary sewer system as part of the district’s modernization efforts. The project scope included the installation of overflow storage tanks, an odor control system, and a backup generator to ensure uninterrupted operation. Additional improvements included a site perimeter CMU wall and a new electrical control building to support the upgraded infrastructure.

This project strengthens wastewater conveyance and enhances long-term system resilience, supporting the district’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure and regulatory compliance.
