Preston Companies Recognized as 2025 Bay Area Best Places to Work for the Fifth Consecutive Year
Preston Companies has been recognized as a winner of the 2025 Bay Area Best Places to Work, an awards program presented by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal, marking our fifth consecutive year on the list. Preston Companies proudly earned the #4 ranking in the 100–199 employee category, rising two spots from last year’s position.
Select employers from the Bay Area were named winners of the award on June 12th, 2025. These organizations were celebrated for building outstanding workplace cultures that their employees deeply value. “Being named a Best Place to Work for the fifth year in a row is a tremendous honor,” said Lauren Trekell, Director of Human Resources and Marketing. “It’s a direct reflection of the people who make Preston what it is. Our employees bring heart, grit, and dedication to everything they do, and they’re what keeps our culture strong.”
Award applicants were evaluated and ranked across five categories according to the number of Bay Area employees. Rankings were based on employee feedback on key factors such as company culture, compensation and benefits, team dynamics, and leadership practices. The full list of winners was published in the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal on June 13th, 2025.

The rankings are determined through surveys that go directly to employees, who answer a series of questions about their workplace. Quantum Workplace, the program’s research partner, administers the survey and calculates the results. The rankings highlight companies whose employees rate them highest in areas like culture, leadership, and overall satisfaction, offering valuable insights for other organizations to learn from.
