At Preston, we believe that a strong, inclusive industry is built on the contributions of diverse voices and perspectives. That’s why we were proud to have six of our own attend this year’s Groundbreaking Women in Construction (GWIC) conference in San Diego, California, a powerful event dedicated to advancing women in the construction industry.

Hosted annually by ENR and BNP Media, GWIC brings together industry leaders, innovators, and rising talent to address the challenges and opportunities women face in the construction industry.

Throughout the two-day conference, our attendees engaged in dynamic panel discussions, keynote presentations, and networking sessions that explored a range of topics, including career development, mentorship, workforce equity, and the evolving future of the construction field. The conversations were both inspiring and actionable.

Our Preston representatives returned with a renewed sense of purpose and actionable insights to share with our teams. We are committed to continuing the conversation around equity and empowerment in our workplace and to supporting the professional growth of women across all roles in the construction industry.
