For more than 20 years, DirtMarket has partnered with Cargill to support infrastructure, maintenance, and capital improvement projects across its Bay Area salt pond facilities in Newark and Redwood City. These ongoing projects play a critical role in maintaining levee systems, preserving site accessibility, and supporting the long-term operation of essential flood protection and environmental infrastructure.

DirtMarket’s scope of work has included the import and placement of clean fill material for levee repairs, reconstruction and widening of levees and service roads, and capital improvements such as widening and rocking more than 5,000 linear feet of access roads. The team also provides responsive support for ongoing maintenance needs throughout the facilities.

Through two decades of collaboration, DirtMarket has helped strengthen shoreline infrastructure, improve operational access, and support the continued safe and reliable operation of one of the Bay Area’s most significant industrial and environmental assets.
