The Gateway at Millbrae Station project transformed nearly ten acres surrounding one of the Bay Area’s busiest transit hubs into a high-density, mixed-use development designed to enhance connectivity and community access in Millbrae, California. Delivered through a joint venture between Blach Construction and Cahill Contractors, the development includes office space, a hotel, affordable and market-rate housing, retail, parking, and public amenities adjacent to the Millbrae BART Station.

Preston Pipelines provided comprehensive underground utility infrastructure for the project, including storm drain, sanitary sewer, domestic water, fire water, and a storm drain pump station to support the complex site and long-term operational needs of the development. The work required careful coordination within an active transit-oriented environment and alongside multiple phases of ongoing construction activity.

DirtMarket also supported the project through soil management and hauling coordination services, helping maintain production and support the project schedule.
