Preston Pipelines is proud to announce that our team has been recognized by United Contractors (UCON) in their 2024 R.E.A.L. Safety Awards. This prestigious program, Recognizing Excellence, Awareness, and Leadership, celebrates contractors who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to building a strong culture of safety across California’s construction industry.

This year, UCON received a record number of applications, reflecting the growing focus on workplace safety statewide. Among the exceptional contractors honored, Preston Pipelines was recognized in two categories:

• 500,001–1,000,000 Man-Hours
• Most Improved Safety Rating

In addition, Senior Safety Manager Eb Lopez was named a Safety Hero of the Year, a testament to his outstanding leadership and dedication to keeping our crews safe every day.

The R.E.A.L. Safety Awards program has been a cornerstone of UCON’s mission since 2005, highlighting companies that go above and beyond to prevent injuries, protect their workforce, and raise the bar for safety in the construction industry.
