The UC Davis West Village Housing project involved the ground-up construction of one of the largest student housing developments in the Western United States, ultimately providing housing capacity for approximately 4,400 UC Davis students. Delivered in Davis, California, the large-scale development required extensive site utility infrastructure to support the new residential community.

Preston Pipelines completed installation of the site’s sewer, storm drain, bioswale, fire water, and domestic water systems. Preston Electric also performed the site dry utility work, including power distribution, communication, and photovoltaic infrastructure throughout the development. The project required close coordination across multiple trades and phases to support the aggressive construction schedule and numerous project milestones.

Through collaboration and phased execution, Preston successfully delivered the underground utility infrastructure necessary to support the long-term growth and functionality of the UC Davis West Village community.
