The Larry Ellison Conservation Center for Wildlife Care (LECCWC) in Saratoga, California, was developed as a premier wildlife rehabilitation and conservation facility operated by the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA. Designed to care for sick, injured, and orphaned native wildlife from across the Bay Area, the center also supports species recovery efforts through active propagation and conservation programs focused on preserving California’s endangered and imperiled wildlife.
Preston Pipelines and Preston Electric provided critical infrastructure services to support construction of the facility. Preston Pipelines installed the underground utility systems serving the site, including a joint trench backbone and fire suppression water storage tanks, while Preston Electric supported the project’s electrical infrastructure needs. The work established the essential systems required to support the facility’s daily operations, specialized care functions, and emergency preparedness requirements.
Construction required close coordination among multiple stakeholders to deliver the infrastructure necessary for this unique and mission-driven facility. Through collaboration and efficient project execution, Preston helped create a state-of-the-art wildlife care center dedicated to conservation, rehabilitation, and education.
